TOMORROW June 28th: DIVISION C RELAY CARNIVAL!

Gators,

Tomorrow morning is our Division C Relay Carnival at Manchester Farm pool. This all-relay meet goes fast and is so much fun. Please stay until the end to witness the amazing coaches and parents' relay!

Please be aware that the line-up sent previously was preliminary and Coach Nik may make adjustments. Stay tuned, as he will send out the final lineup later today. Also, we have the B relay carnival on July 12th so gators not selected to this meet will get a chance to participate in relays then

For those Gators coming to the meet, please read below.

Please be at Franklin knolls no later than 7:15am. The theme is bathtime/ rubber ducky- wear your robes, shower caps and other bathtime gear.

We will do the check-in, photos, and get organized to go. Manchester Farm is about a 30-minute drive from the pool. Our warm-ups start at 8:30 am. Parents, feel free to join in the fun dress up! We will leave for Manchester Farm no later than 7:40 in a caravan. All important details are below.

Pool Address

13851 Hopkins Road Germantown, MD 20874

Parking

Since all 6 pools in our division will be there, we encourage carpooling. Do not park in the pool lot unless you have one of our 8 parking passes, which we will handout to coaches and officials and other volunteers when we convene at FKP (please clearly display the pass on your windshield).

Parking is available along Hopkins Road and Steeple Road or across the street at Ronald McNair Elementary School. Please observe all posted parking restrictions and do not park along the yellow curb in the circle at the pool entrance.

Welcome Table

Team representatives and volunteers should check in at the Welcome Table on the pool deck upon arrival to pick up their welcome packet, which will include:

  • Meet programs
  • Name tags for team officials and volunteers
  • Clerk and Referee charts

Noise Ordinance

Because the pool is surrounded by townhomes, we will not be using the PA system and ask everyone to keep noise levels to a minimum until the meet begins at 9:00 AM. We appreciate your cooperation and consideration for our neighbors.

JOLYN Pop-Up Shop

JOLYN will be hosting a pop-up shop on the pool deck during the Relay Carnival. A variety of JOLYN swimsuits and BROLYN briefs/jammers will be available for purchase. The pop-up shop was a huge success last year, and we're excited to welcome them back.

Trash

Gators, please be mindful of trash- especially candy wrappers. The reps picked up a lot of trash at Clarksburg Village today. IF WE CONTINUE TO SEE TRASH LEFT ON POOL GROUNDS, WE WILL NOT HAVE CANDY AT FUTURE MEETS.

Thank you and Go Gators!!
