Summer Schedule
Practices will begin May 26! We will follow the same schedule as previous years with 13+ at 4pm, 9-12 at 5pm, and 8U at 6pm. If you know anyone who will be new to the team, let them know that assessments for Gators and Mini Gators will happen following practice that week. Full morning practices and Mini Gators will begin June 23 after the Teen Trip.
The full meet schedule is on the team web site. We would like to highlight a few other important details:
May 9 - Cleanup Day - As heavy users of the pool early in the season, we would love to encourage swim team families to join in the pool's annual community cleanup. It's a great way for middle schoolers and high school students to earn SSL hours while catching up with their summer teammates! Work starts at 10am; please bring work gloves, a water bottle, trash bags, rakes, brooms, etc.
June 10 - **NEW MEET - We are thrilled to share that we have planned a fifth B-Meet at Connecticut Belair. This will function as another meet to get a time before the first A-Meet if you cannot come to Time Trials on June 6. These meets will be the only opportunities to get times before we host Bannockburn on June 13.
June 19 - no practices due to the Juneteenth holiday.
June 20-22 - Teen Trip
June 23 - Morning practice including Mini Gators at 11am begins.
June 28 - Relay Carnival at Manchester Farm
July 3 - **FRIDAY A Meet v. Manchester Farm at FKP - because July 4 falls on a Saturday, we are moving that week's A Meet to the observed holiday on Friday, July 3. We will begin the meet early at 8am to finish in time for the pool to open on the holiday and to honor our seniors!
July 12 - ** New Meet: B Relay Carnival at Connecticut Belair - we are excited to join Connecticut Belair and Woodley Gardens in this event!
